Your data subject's rights

Via the specified contact data for our Data Protection Officer, you can exercise the following rights at any time:

  • Information about your data stored by us and how it is processed
  • Rectification of incorrect personal data
  • Erasure of your data stored by us
  • Restriction of data processing if we are not yet permitted to erase your data due to legal obligations
  • Objection to the processing of your data by us

If you have given us your consent, you can withdraw this at any time with effect for the future.

You can appeal to the relevant responsible supervisory authority with a complaint at any time. Your responsible supervisory authority is determined by the federal state of your place of residence, your work or the alleged breach. A list of supervisory authorities (for the private sector) with address can be found at: https://www.bfdi.bund.de/DE/Infothek/Anschriften_Links/anschriften_links-node.html.

Purposes of data processing by the responsible body and third parties

We will only process your personal data for the purposes specified in this Data Privacy Notice. Your personal data will not be transferred to third parties for purposes other than those specified. We will only pass on your personal data to third parties if:

  • You have given your express consent
  • Processing is required for the conclusion of a contract with you
  • Processing is required for fulfilment of a legal obligation

Processing is required to safeguard legitimate interests and there is no reason to believe that you have an overriding interest worthy of protection in the non-proliferation of your data

Deletion or blocking of data

We comply with the principles of data avoidance and data minimisation. We shall therefore only store your personal data as long as this is required to achieve the purposes specified here or as stipulated by the diverse storage periods set out by the legislator. Once the relevant purpose no longer exists or these periods have expired, the relevant data will be blocked or deleted routinely and according to legal regulations.

Collection of general information when visiting our website

When you access our website, a cookie automatically collects information of a general nature. This information (server log files) includes the type of web browser, the operating system used, the domain name of your internet service provider, etc. None of this information allows conclusions about you to be drawn.

This information is technically necessary to correctly provide website content requested by you and is an inevitable part of using the internet. It is processed in particular for the following purposes:

  • Ensuring problem-free website connection setup
  • Ensuring smooth use of our website
  • Evaluating system security and stability
  • Other administrative purposes

The processing of your personal data is based on our legitimate interest for the specified purposes for data acquisition. We will not use your data to draw conclusions about you. The only recipients of the data are the responsible body and, if necessary, the order processor.

Anonymous information of this kind may be statistically evaluated by us to optimise our internet site and the associated technology.

Cookies

Like many other websites, we use "cookies". Cookies are small text files transferred from a website on to your hard drive. We then automatically receive specific data, e.g. IP address, browser used, operating system and your internet connection.

Cookies cannot be used to start programs or transmit viruses to a computer. Based on the information contained in cookies, we can make navigation easier for you and ensure that our websites are displayed correctly.

Under no circumstances will the data we gather be passed on to third parties or a link to personal data be established without your consent.

You can, of course, view our website without cookies. Internet browsers are usually set up so that they accept cookies. You can generally deactivate the use of cookies at any time via your browser settings. Use the help functions on your internet browser to find out how you can change these settings. Please note that individual functions of our website may not work if you deactivate the use of cookies.

SSL encryption

To protect the security of your data during data transfer, we use state-of-the-art encryption methods (e.g. SSL) via HTTPS.

Contact form

If you contact us via email or the contact form in relation to queries of any kind, you give us your voluntary consent for the purposes of contacting you. You must give a valid email address for this. This is used to assign and respond to the enquiry. The provision of additional data is optional. The information provided by you will be stored for the purposes of processing the enquiry and for possible follow-up queries. Once your enquiry has been dealt with, personal data will be deleted automatically.

Use of script libraries (Google Webfonts)

In order to display our content correctly and with visually appealing graphics across browsers, on this website, we use script libraries and font libraries such as Google Webfonts (https://www.google.com/webfonts/). Google Webfonts are transferred to your browser's cache to avoid multiple downloads. If the browser does not support Google Webfonts or prevents access, content is displayed in a standard font.

Calling up script or font libraries automatically establishes a connection to the library operator. This means that, theoretically, although it is currently also unclear whether and to what purpose, operators of the relevant libraries may collect data. You can find the data privacy guideline of library operator Google at: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/

Use of Google Maps

This website uses Google Maps API to visually display geographical information. When using Google Maps, data about the use of map functions by visitors is also collected, processed and utilised by Google. You can find more detailed information about data processing by Google in Google's data privacy information. There, you can also change your personal data privacy settings in the Data Privacy Center.

Embedded YouTube videos

We embed YouTube videos on some of our websites. The operator of the relevant plug-ins is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. When you visit a page with a YouTube plug-in, a connection is established with YouTube's servers. YouTube is notified about which pages you visit. When you are logged into your YouTube account, YouTube can personally ascribe your surfing behaviour to you. You can prevent this by first logging out of your YouTube account.

If you start up a YouTube video, the provider will install cookies that collect information about user behaviour.

If you have deactivated the storage of cookies for the Google Ad program, you will also not receive such cookies when watching YouTube videos. However, YouTube also places non-personal usage information in other cookies. To prevent this, block the storage of cookies in your browser.

Further information about "YouTube" data privacy can be found in the Data Privacy Notice of the provider at: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/

Change to our data protection provisions

We reserve the right to adapt this Data Privacy Notice to ensure that it always complies with current legal requirements or to incorporate changes made to our services in the Data Privacy Notice, e.g. when new services are introduced. The new Data Privacy Notice will apply the next time you visit the site.
