WAD III-adapter for oil separator

The WAD III-adapter is the link between the shaft cover and the subjacent oil separator as well as all tank or container systems with round manhole.

An innovative alternative for separators that are located in the roadway area and are strained by vehicles driving over them. Also ideally suited for retrofitting in the event of recurring damage to the shaft structure!

Materials/Construction materials:
• 1.4301 (x5CrNi18-10), stainless steel, varnished or coated
• 1.0038 (S 235 JR), unalloyed structural steel, hot-galvanized, varnished or coated

Benefits:
Through the installation of the adapter, the shaft cover and thus the manhole is completely decoupled from the concrete tank below. This helps to divert the forces in particular. Those are being diverted by the big supporting surface of the concrete collar (kN 400, certified after DIN 124) and conducted into the ground. Consequently high redevelopment costs of the roadway and the manhole can be avoided. This assembly is suitable for new installations and redevelopment projects. User friendly opening of the shaft cover is also an advantage for continuous monitoring and the usual maintenance work.

The opened lid gives a better notification of the danger zone.

The shaft cover offers support when using a ladder for entering.

Can be opened easily with the help of 2 gas pressure springs in high grade steel.
