TÜV-certified acc. to DIN EN 124 | Bearing capacity class C 250 kN or class D 400 kN | MPA-certified
Waterproof by means of a soft rubber (NBR-quality, fuel resistant) and lock-up version.
Attention! Soft sealing requires special care! Gas- and odour-tight.
Snow plow safe.
Shaft cover on the ground level including two locking mechanisms. Cover in hot-galvanized stud pad structure. Ease of use due to gas pressure spring in high-grade steel (replaceable).
• Lock-up version by using a soft rubber | Clear opening measuring 740 x 740 mm
Double concrete collar:
• Axial measurement 1100 mm or 1400 mm
Additional measurements class D 400 kN:
• Clear opening measuring 920 x 920 mm (see WAD III MG), concrete collar 1585 x 1585 x 250 mm
• Clear opening measuring 1400 x 740 mm (LPG-Shafts), concrete collar 1585 x 1585 x 200 mm
Available with or without concrete collar.
Concrete collar of concrete strength class C30/37 LP (outside of the liquid-tight surface) with 4% slope and non-slip surface structure.
Concrete collar of concrete strength class C35/45 LP (within the liquid-tight surface) with 4% slope and non-slip surface structure.
The concrete strength classes C30/37 LP and C35/45 LP comply with exposition class XF4 and therefore guarantee a strong resistance against frost and de-icing salt.
The concrete strength classes C30/37 LP and C35/45 LP involve the use of air-entrained concrete. Depending on its assignment to an exposition class, concrete has to be produced as air-entrained concrete. Concrete of the exposition class XF4 may only be executed as air-entrained concrete. The assignment to exposition class XF4 applies – amongst others – to traffic areas that are exposed to de-icing salt. Since dome shaft covers are often embedded in the roadway and are thus exposed to frequent alterations between frost and dew, the use of air-entrained concrete is mostly recommended.
